Spherical plain Bearings

Spherical plain bearings are a type of plain bearing that has a spherical inner and outer ring, allowing for swiveling, tilting, and rotational movements between the components without edge pressure. This allows them to accommodate misalignments and structural movements, making them ideal for applications such as plant machinery, agricultural equipment, robotics, and medical technology that require flexible motion. Spherical plain bearings can be either maintenance-free with a PTFE lining or require regular lubrication, with size and load capacity determined by the application’s expected loads, service life, and safety requirements. Spherical plain bearing have a simpler design, are smaller in size, and can carry more load than rolling element bearings.
