Insert Ball Bearings

Insert ball bearings are a type of bearing designed for easy installation. They have a convex outer ring that allows them to be pressed directly into a housing or mounted on a shaft, without the need for a separate housing. Insert ball bearings are based on sealed deep groove ball bearings, typically in the 62 and 63 series, and often include locking mechanisms like set screws or eccentric locking collars to secure them in place. This self-contained design makes them convenient and versatile, as they can be lubricated and relubricated through access grooves or ports. Insert ball bearings are available in a variety of materials, sizes, and configurations to suit different industrial equipment, machinery, and other applications where easy installation and maintenance are important.
